By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 6, 2024, No. 815 the Regulation on the procedure for assigning qualification categories to artists of state theaters, theatrical studios, circuses, and concert and entertainment institutions has been approved.
This document was adopted in accordance with the Presidential Decree dated February 21, 2024, No. UP-37 "On the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy 'Uzbekistan – 2030' in the 'Year of Support for Youth and Business'.
The Regulation defines:
- the procedure for assigning positions with qualification categories in theatrical, circus, and concert entertainment institutions;
- the criteria, procedure, and deadlines for assigning qualification categories;
- the grounds for downgrading or revoking a category;
- the procedure for considering complaints related to the assignment of qualification categories.
The qualification category is determined once a year and formalized by an order from the institution's director based on the conclusion of the Artistic Council.
The assignment of qualifications is based on the following evaluation criteria:
- creative abilities;
- experience;
- the quality and quantity of performances in various concerts and shows;
- activity in public work and spiritual-educational and creative gatherings.
The document has been published in the National Database of Legislation in the state language and came into effect on December 7, 2024.
