In Tashkent, authorities have halted the illegal circulation of over 560,000 fireworks and firecrackers.

During an operational event conducted by customs officials, the Security Service, and law enforcement agencies, a large illegal trade of pyrotechnic products was interrupted in Tashkent.

Specifically, in the Yangihayot district, a Cobalt vehicle was stopped, and the driver had previously been under surveillance. During the inspection of the vehicle's trailer, over 562,000 units of pyrotechnic products of seven different types were discovered.

The estimated value of the confiscated fireworks and firecrackers is over 400 million sums, according to preliminary calculations.

Currently, customs checks regarding this incident are ongoing.
