In Samarkand, the owner of a mining farm illegally consumed electricity worth 1.8 billion sums.

In the Ishtikhan district, during a raid, an illegal mining farm was discovered, which was established by the head of a family business, K. Y.

It has been noted that the entrepreneur illegally connected the mining equipment to the power grid, stealing 2 million kWh of electricity worth 1.8 billion sums.

A criminal case has been initiated against K. Y. under part 4 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (Theft). The suspect has been detained.
