According to reports from the press service of the Tashkent Metro, the capital's metro system has served one million passengers for the first time.

The metro administration identified the millionth passenger who used the metro and congratulated him on this significant milestone for the capital's public transport.

He turned out to be a young man who commutes daily to work via the metro. The passenger was presented with a commemorative gift and a transport card that allows free use of public transport for one year.

“We are pleased that the number of passengers served by our metro has reached 1 million,” noted the administration of the Tashkent Metro.
