According to the press service of the regional hokimiyat, a working group has been established to prevent accidents and emergencies, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address identified deficiencies. The group comprises employees from the regional department of "Uzdavneftegazinspektsiya," the State Emergency Service of the region, the gas supply branch "Hududgaz Fergana," and other responsible organizations.
The working group will conduct inspections of gas filling compressor stations, gas filling stations, and fuel stations to ensure they meet industrial, fire, and environmental safety requirements. The group will also assess the condition of fuel storage tanks and other regulatory aspects of the legislation.
It is noted that inspections will be conducted without interfering in the financial activities of the facilities, and the gas stations will continue to operate as usual.
Additionally, all employees of gas stations, gas compressor stations, and gas filling stations, regardless of their organizational and legal form, will undergo training through a special program at the training center under the regional State Emergency Service.
It should be noted that on December 17, an explosion occurred at a multi-fuel gas station and gas filling point in Fergana. According to official information, 4 people died as a result of the explosion.
