Tashkent has announced a competition for new entrance gates.

The capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, is preparing for a major renovation of its entrance gates. Tashkent Invest has announced the launch of an open international competition for the development of design concepts for four new city entrance groups. The competition commenced on October 31, 2024, offering architects and designers from around the globe the chance to contribute to the appearance of Tashkent.

Participation in the competition is open to both individual professionals and creative teams. The organizers particularly encourage the involvement of professionals from Uzbekistan and the formation of mixed international teams. This will enable a fusion of global expertise with a deep understanding of the local context and cultural nuances.

Applications for participation are accepted until November 7, 2024, inclusive. To submit an application, necessary documents must be sent to the email address [email protected].
