Exports increased by 4.4%, amounting to $24.2 billion, while imports rose by 3% to reach $35.1 billion. The negative trade balance stood at $9.4 billion.
China remains the country's largest trading partner, with a trade volume of $12.2 billion (19% of the total). Russia follows in second place with $10.6 billion (18%), serving as the main export destination. Kazakhstan holds third place with $3.8 billion (6.5%), followed by Turkey at $2.6 billion (4.5%) and South Korea at $1.8 billion (3%). Among other key partners are Turkmenistan at $1 billion (1.8%) and Germany at $1 billion (1.8%).
