In Uzbekistan, the number of electric charging stations has increased by nearly 80% in just eight months.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of electric charging stations in Uzbekistan has surpassed 1,000. This information was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Among them, 580 new electric charging stations have been established in Tashkent. The total number of users has reached 90,000 people.

Tashkent region leads among the regions in the number of charging stations, with a total of 120. Following are the Namangan, Samarkand, and Fergana regions, each having 61 stations. Tashkent maintains its position as the region with the highest number of electric charging stations, accounting for over half of the total in the country.

In contrast, Karakalpakstan shows the lowest figures — only 9 stations, and this number has remained unchanged over the months.
