Over the past eight years, the private healthcare sector has significantly expanded, leading to an increase in the number of specialized institutions. In 2017, there were approximately 3,500 private hospitals in the country, and today their number has exceeded 9,000.

Private clinics have broadened their range of specializations from 50 to 225, offering more opportunities for licensing. As a result, over 3,700 clinics have expanded their operations by introducing new medical fields.

Currently, 35% of all medical facility beds in the country are in the private sector, as evidenced by the growth in the number of hospital beds in private hospitals, which this year totals nearly 42,700. The variety of medical services provided by private institutions has increased from 726 to 2,200.

Today, private clinics account for 40% of laboratory services, 60% of ophthalmological and surgical ophthalmological services, 70% of ENT services, and 91% of dental procedures.

In the future, there are plans to implement international standards in new private medical institutions to enhance the quality of healthcare services.
