Министерство энергетики опровергло слухи о закрытии зарядных станций.

The Ministry of Energy has denied reports about the shutdown of charging stations.

The Ministry of Energy has denied reports that it instructed the shutdown of electric vehicle charging stations in Uzbekistan. In an official statement, the agency emphasized that no such orders have been issued.

The ministry has also reached out to entrepreneurs facing illegal interference in their activities, urging them to report such incidents to the hotline: +99871-231-16-61 (internal numbers 7037, 7046, and 7057).

Publications Kun.uz and Spot.uz reported instances of charging stations being turned off. According to information from companies operating in this market, the shutdowns occur without explanation, affecting over 20 stations, most of which are located in Tashkent. The first incidents were reportedly recorded as early as last week. Context

Last week, it was revealed that the working hours of methane refueling stations were reduced due to the cold weather, leading to increased tension among entrepreneurs operating in the refueling infrastructure sector.

Entrepreneurs are concerned that these forced shutdowns are damaging their businesses. Despite the stoppage of operations, they continue to pay rent and other expenses, and customer dissatisfaction negatively impacts the companies' reputations.

The Ministry of Energy has assured that it is taking all necessary measures to ensure the stable operation of charging stations and has called for reporting violations for prompt resolution.
